As a law student on both a budget and a diet, I decided to indulge once a week in my love for craft beer. The result was a weekly ritual involving an in depth look into the specific beer I chose. Beer of the Week 76 - 7/6/2011: Brouwerij St. Bernardus Abt 12
My favorite style of beer: Quadrupels. Such rich and delicious flavors of dark, sticky fruits, chocolate and belgian spice. This one is definitely a world class beer, although, in my opinion, falls short of how utterly amazing Rochefort 10 is. The mouthfeel and richness are a little too light for my personal taste. If you want a delicious, widely available, world class beer, this is the one to go go.
