Beer of the Week 79 - 7/27/2011: North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve 2009 (Aged in Bourbon Barrels)
Unfreakingbelievable beer.  THE most bourbon forward nose on a beer I have ever encountered.  Cask like bourbon aromas mixed with rich toffee and caramel.  The taste is borderline orgasmic.  Brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, caramel and sweet molasses mixed with delicsious bourbon flavors.  Really amazing.  Pretty hefty price-tag, so beware.  But for bourbon lovers, this is totally worth every penny.
