As a law student on both a budget and a diet, I decided to indulge once a week in my love for craft beer. The result was a weekly ritual involving an in depth look into the specific beer I chose. Beer of the Week 82 - 8/17/2011: Russian River Temptation
Another masterpiece from Vinnie at Russian River in CA. Temptation is an American Wild Ale aged in French oak chardonnay barrels for twelve months with the wild yeast Brettanomyces added. The chardonnay and oak impart a wonderful amount of aromas and flavors with the Brett giving it that funky, musty, Brett flavoring. Really an exceptional beer and worth every dollar spent on it.
