Beer of the Week 83 - 8/24/2011: De Struise Black Albert (Batch “0”)
1st week of my last year of law school has brought out a beer I was saving for a special occasion.  Black Albert was originally brewed fr Ebenezer’s Pub in Lovell, ME, but thankfully has been distributed to other areas.  A HUGE 13% ABV Russian Imperial Stout from Belgium packs a huge roasted malt and chocolate quality in addition to some influences from Belgium Quadrupels.  Almost like a mix of the two styles.  Really a great beer and one that should be saved for your own special occasion.  Cheers!
